There are 3 things you must have 1.Teamspeak 2.A Microphone 3.MSN Messenger.
1.Teamspeak & 2.Microphone (Needed for Teamspeak)
We use a voice over net program called Teamspeak 2 Client download it by clicking the photo below.
In order to speak with your "New Friends" you need to connect to a server. TeamSpeaK is "CaSe SeNsiTiVe" so be sure to copy things exactly as you see them , Capitals , Spaces and all !
a. Download and install Teamspeak 2 Client.
b. Open the the program.
c. Open the menu "Connection" and press "Connect". Your local addressbook is still empty but we are going to add a server here. Press your right mouse button in the white left section and click on "Add server". Name the server......Lost Newfies
d. Label name will be the same ......Lost Newfies
e. Next fill in the server address in the specified field, this is 69.65.25.200:8794.
f. After that put "Your Game Name" in the "Nickname" space.
g. Leave Blank "allow server to assign a nickname" and " Anonymous".
h. Check off "Registered"
i. Our server is Password Protected , your "Login Name" and "User Password" will be sent to you by one of the Administrators.
j. Next check the "Auto-reconnect" box.
k. Leave Blank the next section called ----Optional---- "Default Channel , Default Subchannel and Channel Password" are not used.
Remember to check "Registered" , Fill in your nickname and double check for the " : " before the 8794 in the Server Address bar !
Next go to the Settings tab and click on "Sound Input Output Settings" Check off "Push To Talk" and then select a button that you will use to talk when on Teamspeak. ( Left control for example )
After that hit the "Connect" button at the bottom. If all went well you are now connected to the server. You should see your name with a green light next to it. This light will Lightt Up when you push to talk. It may also be necessary to go into your sound settings and turn up Microphone Boost and Output VolumeI.
If you are having a problem one of the Admins will be on MSN to help.
3. MSN Messenger
We also use MSN Messenger to communicate should there be a problem with TS or the website. It is a FREE Microsoft product which can be downloaded from
Please download and install it as soon as possible. Also include you MSN address in your personal info so your New Friends can contact you outside of Teamspeak (Just in case you get bored at work :roll:[u][/u]
